Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share with you an observation I made about Google Adsense a year or two ago to see if anyone else has noticed the same thing.

I own quite a few websites that earn me money through Google Adsense; some are dedicated Adsense websites and others just use it to earn a little income Until I get around to selling or marketing something decent on them.

Anyway, having quite a few websites, I have a fair bit of data to work with and one of the things I’ve noticed is that I seem to earn more at the beginning of the month than the middle and end of the month.

At the start of the month, the commissions for each click are high but as the month goes on, the cost per click (CPC) gets lower and lower. Then, when the new month starts, big money again.

The number of clicks remains fairly constant, so I’m guessing the advertisers monthly budgets are simply waning away as the month goes on. Also, this is common amongst multiple websites in multiple niches.

I’m thinking about creating a little app that changes advertising banners from adsense to an alternative advertiser for the last two weeks of every month, then flicking back to adsense at the start of a new month.

So, my question to you guys is: Does this happen to you, too?

Or am I just a freak? lol
