Just a quick post today to let you know about a project I’ve been working on for a friend of mine – it’s a website all about the Victoria writer George Eliot (real name Mary Ann Evans). Click here to check it out.
George Eliot wrote seven books and countless poems and short stories during her life and you can download them all from the website for free for your personal reading pleasure 
Living in Nuneaton, the birthplace of George Eliot, there’s references to the great lady everywhere you look, perhaps the most notable being our George Eliot Hospital.
You can find some of her stuff on various websites in Internet Land but we believe that this is the first place where such a large collection is freely available in one place.
Her literature isn’t really my cup of tea. I tried reading a couple of her books and found them a little dull (although I managed to finish Silas Marner, which wasn’t too bad). And some of her poems are alright but I think I’m going to stick with my sci-fi lol.
