A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about the coolest kids 2-seater electric cars I’d seen after a visit to the toy shop with my buddy, Tommo.

I also planned on writing about the not-so-cool and downright ugly two-seater electric ride-ons in the same post, but unfortunately I ran out of time so that’s what I’m gonna talk about today

Here’s my top 5 ugliest 2 seater electric cars for kids:

Barbie 2 seater jeep

Maybe it’s because I’m a boy and don’t understand the whole ‘Barbie’ thing but, to me, this pink jeep looks ridiculous. I’m not against the colour – my daughter has a lot of pink clothes and I myself own one or two pink garments – I just think it looks tacky. And at over £400 it’s a bit of a rip-off in my opinion (although it does feature forward and reverse gears). The only sort of person I can see buying this would be a relatively well-off parent with a daughter who is a die-hard Barbie fan!

Ugly blue kids electric jeep

Ugh! Everything about this jeep just looks wrong! The colours are ghastly, the bull bars look flimsy, it looks as though hardly any effort has been made in the design and the chassis looks like it will snap in two the first time it runs into a lamp post. Ugh! The funny thing is, over at kids electric cars, it says they’ve sold out! Personally, I just think they bother keeping any of these in stock!.

Tandem Electric Jeep for Kids

It’s garishly colourful and unlike most two-seaters, it sits two kids in tandem rather than next to each other. Why does the front wheel arch go so high? It just don’t look right and makes the front wheels look poxy! On the plus side,you get a free play tent with this model.

Dis-Gus-Ting!

I don’t really need to say anything about this gross-mobile, the feigned smiles of the poor kids that have been made to sit in it for the photoshoot say it all! I can see a theme developing in my choices – maybe I just don’t like jeeps lol. I’ll make sure my final pick is not 4 x 4 replica.

Blocky Red Car

I gotta admit, I found it quite difficult to find an ugly kids 2-seater electric car that wasn’t a jeep and all I could find was this ‘blocky’ automobile that looks as though it could be made of LEGO (TM). I just don’t like all the sticky out angles on it. I’m not even 100% sure that it is a two-seater as it doesn’t mention it having 2 seats in the specs but closeinspection of the photos revealed that it’s got two headrests and the steering wheel is off-centre, so I’m assuming there’s room for two.
